RT629 - Phenolic Paper Tube

RT629 is a paper phenolic tube intended primarily for mechanical applications, but is suitable for electrical applications as well. The electrical properties are not quite as good as those of RT630. RT629 also complies with MIL-I-24768/11, Type PBG and ASTM D709 Type I Grade XX and IEC 612112-3-1-PFCP.

RT629 (NEMA XX) is composed of paper reinforcement combined with a phenolic resin system. RT629 meets the requirements of MIL-I-24768/11, Type PBG and is designed for electrical and mechanical applications. RT629 is suitable for inserts, bushings, washers, rollers, collars, spacers, sleeves, guide tubes, and processing rollers.
